It tastes every better if you fry bhindi before adding the spices.
- Wash the bhindi properly. Pat it dry with a kitchen towel chop off the ends and slice then into small pieces.
- Heat one table spoon off oil in a pan and fry the bhindi for about 5 minutes. Then transfer it to a plate and keep it a side.
- Now heat a table spoon of oil and add the sliced onions. Fry it on medium heat for 3 - 4 minutes. Till they turn transparent.
- Add Ginger - Garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Now add Turmeric Powder , Red chilly powder, Turmaric powder, coriender powder, salt and cook it for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the fried Bhindi pieces and mix well.
- Sprinkle some water if needed.
- Cook on low medium heat / flame for about 7- to - 8 minutes till the bhindi is cooked.
- Once done, switch off the flame and Garnish it with coriender leaves .
