- Wash all the dals properly. Pressure cook them in a cooker with 3 whistles and simmer for 5minutes.
- Crush onions, green chillies, garlic cloves and ginger in a mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add green chilli pieces, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds to it
- After the mustard seeds crackles add the onion paste to it and cook it properly.
- Meanwhile crush the tomatoes and make it's puree.
- Add the puree to the pan. Mix well and cook until oil separates from the gravy.
- Now add all the dry spices to the gravy. Mix well everything.
- Now add the boiled dals to the pan. Mix well and cook for about 5-7 minutes on low flame.
- Add lemon juice and coriander leaves to it.
