- Take 1.5 cups urad dal (black)

- Take 1 tbspn garam masala
- Get 1 tbspn red chilly powder

- Get jeera powder

- Soap rajma and urad dal for 6-7 hours. You can do it early in the morning if you are planning to cook for lunch
- Now while preparing it, boil the dal and rajma in pressure cooker for 20 minutes. Add a pinch of salt while boiling.
- Take a pan, add oil and sliced onion. Add ginger garlic paste and saute it well. Add a pinch of salt as per your taste
- Separately, take the cup of milk, add garam masala, chilly powder, turmeric powder, methi and jeera powder. Mix it well
- Once the onion are sauted well, add the masala liquid paste made in above step. Saute it well for 5 mins.
- Now mix the boiled dal to the pan and keep it on stove for 5 mins.
- You can add butter/ makkhan as per your taste. I would recommend adding 2-3 spoons.Mix it well.
- Ready to be served hot
