Steps to make Simple Rasam Recipe:
- In a pan add water, chopped tomato, chopped onion, few coriander stems, few curry leaves, haldi powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, tamarind pulp and salt.
- Cover and boiled for 30 minutes.
- For tempering : Heat oil in kadai. Once the oil is hot………..add 1 dry red chilli, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and few curry leaves. Let it crackle for few minutes.
- Pour the tempering on the rasam. Then add crushed masala few cumin seeds, black pepper corn and few garlic cloves. Don't boil it. At last add 1/2 tsp sugar. If you add sugar the taste will be awosome. Once it is done.
- Transfer to a bowl. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Ready to serve…………..hot………..rasam with hot……………..steam rice……………..
