- In a blender, puree the spinach leaves and cilantro with a pinch of salt and 2-3 tbsp of water.
- Set the IP on saute mode and once the inner pot is hot, pour few tbsp of ghee followed by the whole spices and cumin seeds.
- Once the cumin seeds start spluttering, add the green peas, potatoes,pepper and cumin powder.Saute them lightly for a minute.
- Add the spinach puree and stir gently.
- Now goes the washed and drained rice into the pot with half a lemon squeezed.
- Pour in 2 3/4 cups of water along with salt as needed.
- Close the IP lid making sure the steam handle is on sealing mode.
- Pressure cook for 4 minutes and once done, open the lid using Quick Release and stir gently using a spoon.
- Check the doneness of the rice and potatoes.
- Serve hot!
